Lord, Change Him or Kill Him: and right now, I don’t care which

What’s a woman to do when her man treats her like a possession? After an accident takes the life of Lillian’s husband, she falls in love with a handsome politician who attends her church. Charmed by his sweet demeanor and good looks, she marries him only to learn he is a narcissistic bully.  

Kora’s first year of marriage to Nathan was wonderful, but he suddenly turns possessive and domineering. Then enters Bella, who is married to a grumpy slob addicted to porn and alcohol.

 These women band together to encourage and help each other as they suffer the indignities of being married to abusive husbands. When they seek God’s help, things seem to get worse. Will the husbands submit to change? What if they don’t?

A woman once told me that she prayed for her husband, Lord, change him or kill him, and right now I don’t care which. It didn’t happen immediately, but her husband did change. I guess God is in the business of changing people, not killing them.

Lillian, Kora, and Bella need to take action regarding their husbands before they take drastic measures to fix the situation themselves. Of course, the best thing for them to do is to seek God’s help to keep them from going to prison for murder. At least that’s what Lillian says. Will it work? Will God help them?
